The Dance

We move together, inch across the floor

and as I hold your body close to me.

Your face in mine, I savor every pore;

Your eyes, they kill, a lethal dose to me.

We turn together, muscles taut and tan

and as you quickly take the lead from me,

under your guidance, I’m a bigger man,

strong hands wherever you have need of me.

We glide together; you yield to my lunge.

Pace picks up; both dancers breathe steadily.

The climax comes, we take the plunge,

I dip, your hips embrace me readily.

And now the dance is over, feeling gone;

House lights come up as lust dies with the dawn.
